Roxi is a statuesque and photogenic Brown eyed Boerboel. She is super athletic and runs between 20 and 30 miles per week and loves to get out on a run in the mountains every chance she gets . Roxi has been socialized with our family of 6 since the day she arrived and as you can see by the photos below she gets more than her fair share of love living in the house. We are a definitely a family not a kennel.
Roxi is super intelligent and fits right into the family. She was super easy to house train and understands a vocabulary of probably 100-200 words. It is common to see our 7 year old leading her around the neighborhood on a leash without any problem because she is a super obedient dog. Might sound funny but our kids are real celebrities at the elementary because of their big awesome obedient dog that comes to school with them in the mornings. Even the teachers know Roxi and can’t wait to have the puppies visit their class.
She is very alert to her surroundings and any possible threat… yet she is the kindest and gentlest dog towards all the children and adults we introduce her to. It is almost weekly that someone will literally stop their car and ask us what kind of beautiful dog we have and ask to let their kids pet her. She is a magnet for dog lovers and loves to be the center of attention in a crowd of kids or at a game.
Like most Boerboels, Roxi is not afraid to lift her paw and place it right on you when she would like your attention. She is nearly silent unless you ask her to speak and then it is much more like talking than a bark. One of the nicest Roxi traits is that unless she is eating/drinking or running on a trail on a hot day…she is a dry mouth Boerboel and doesn’t drool or slobber around the house.
We cannot wait to see the kind of pups that will arrive in January with this special breeding with Torque.
